Review by Ying
Fascinating, intimate, seductive
This is an album that plays well in lots of settings and asks to be heard over and over
again. In
the
car, in the background it's fun to hear, and wears well, but don't stop there! Put on the
studio
speakers or the great headphones, and listen with all your attention. You'll hear subtleties
and
nuance, texture and richness that will have you sighing, laughing, grinning, and maybe crying
too,
but all in such a humble way that it's clear great music is the goal, not showmanship. The mix
is
wonderful, and you'll feel like you are right there with Ginny and John, and if you've ever
had the
privilege of seeing them live, you know how great that can be.

My solo piano CD, Traveling Home, is all originals, and there's a little something for everyone--from the samba-like Val d'Isere to the honkytonking Rowboat Rag to the lush ballad On My Mind.

Other CDs I'm on are Uncle Gizmo, Reckless Ramblers, Waltztime, and Waltztime 2.
